Applying to Kindergarten for next year 2027-2028?

Below are the key dates for families applying for 2027-2028 school year for admission. 

Kindergarten (and Kindergarten Gifted & Talented) Admissions

  • Key Dates for Fall 2027 Admission
    • January 22, 2027: Application closes.
    • March 30, 2027: Kindergarten offers are released. 
     
    Who Can Apply
    • Children born in 2021 who live in New York City are eligible to apply for kindergarten starting in Fall 2027.
    • All families must apply, including children currently in public pre-K, children with disabilities, and English Language Learners

3-K and Pre-K Admissions
